Borders Scrap Store is a charitable, non-profit making organisation that is run by a committee of volunteers.

The committee employs part-time staff, relies on volunteer help and always welcomes new people to help.

There are stores at Fisherrow Community Centre in Musselburgh and Shepherd's Mill, Selkirk, and there is a regular van service in the Scottish Borders, East Lothian, West Lothian and other parts of southern Scotland.

What we do

By collecting and redistributing materials from household and industrial waste and offering training in their re-use, Borders Scrap Store aims to improve the range and quality of art and craft provision while raising awareness of recycling issues.
